The Yuhang Sports Center, situated in Donghua South Road, consists of a gymnasium, a natatorium or swimming pool complex, and a stadium. 

The gymnasium opened in November 1997, covering an area of 17,746 square meters. With a building area of 7,117 sq m and a total investment of 32.38 million yuan ($5.1 million), it has a 1,056-sq m Center Court, rooms for judges, event athletes and media representatives. The gymnasium has seating for 3,340 people and is equipped with a large central air-conditioning system.

The Yuhang gymnasium has held a series of sports events, such as a World Boxing Championship (WBC), an NBA contest, the national volleyball league tournament, a national taekwondo championship and games put on by the China Basketball Association. During the years 2014 to 2017, the gymnasium held five international and national sports events, 30 provincial and municipal competitions and 28 contests for companies.
