Chenghuang Pavilion
In ancient times, the Chinese would make patron saints out of the local administrators and heroes who had contributed to the well-being of the citizens, and build temples to worship them. Zhou Xin, in whose honor Chenghuang Temple was built, was an upright judge who had once worked as the chief prosecutor of the High Court of Zhejiang Province. The pavilion was built on the remains of Chenghuang Temple in 2000.
