The 3rd Qiantang River Culture Festival came to a close on Nov 25 at the Hangzhou Grand Theater. The four-month festival included 11 major activities and ended with a performance of the Qiantang River Symphony. 

A number of cultural activities, including drama and music performances, art exhibitions, and movie screenings, were held during the event, which was attended by 1.3 million people from over 30 countries.

More than 10 deals were signed by the organizing committee of the festival and the French Agence pour la Promotion de la Création Industrielle, the China National Symphony Orchestra, and the National Theatre Company of China.

In addition, more than 600 initial cooperation agreements valued at 300 million yuan ($42.68 million) and involving the introduction of global talent have been signed.
