Zhejiang Transportation Group announced the launch of electronic coupons on April 23 that can be used at expressway service areas across East China's Zhejiang province during the Labor Day holiday from May 1 to 5.

Drivers and passengers can follow the public WeChat account of Express Service Area –gsywfwq –to receive the electronic coupons.

"The electronic coupons can be used at convenience stores and restaurants at more than 50 pairs of expressway service areas operated by Zhejiang Transportation Group," said Yang Yi, head of the service area management department of Zhejiang Transportation Group.

Expressways will operate toll-free during the Labor Day holiday.

Yang said they will be well-prepared for the increased traffic and ensure ample supplies.
