Kangding, capital of the Garze Tibetan autonomous prefecture in Southwest China's Sichuan province, has been celebrating the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 recently.

Members of the Garze folk song and dance troupe staged a variety of shows to create a festive atmosphere, expressing their gratitude to Hangzhou for its help in poverty alleviation and saying it looked forward to the world's second largest sporting event with the host city.

"Our young actors have tried their best to bring the most impressive dancing and singing performances to the peoples of Hangzhou and Garze," said a director of the troupe.

"I'm thrilled to celebrate the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 with my friends in my hometown," said one local resident.

Garze will continue to take advantage of pairing assistance with Hangzhou, learn from the metropolis' experience in opening-up and innovative development, and strive to make more progress in culture-tourism integration and industrial development.
