Hong Kong Cable Television was recently nominated to become the rights-holding broadcaster of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, which would allow it to broadcast the international event in the special administrative region in an exclusive manner and through all media channels.

CATV is one of the largest television service providers in Hong Kong, providing both free and paid TV networks. Its sports channel is among the most authoritative sports media in Hong Kong, which has abundant experience in the live broadcasting and programming of large international sports events.

"We are honored to be the exclusive broadcaster of the Asian Games in Hong Kong," said a senior manager of the group. "CATV has long been renowned in the industry for its professional and high-standard sports broadcasting. With over 20 years of experience in broadcasting the former Asian Games, CATV will continue to devote itself to promoting the Games in Hong Kong."

The slogan of the Hangzhou Asian Games is "Heart to Heart, @Future". It reflects the ideal of the Olympic Council of Asia to unite closely and conveys confidence, optimism, courage, and a shared future.
