Kungfu, or Chinese martial arts, shares a similar pronunciation with "common prosperity" in Chinese. It is a part of traditional Chinese culture that has raised great interest among foreigners.

In this video, taichi, or the Chinese version of shadow boxing, will be introduced first, followed by breakdancing and skateboarding, two sports gaining popularity with the upcoming Asian Games, and finally the digital exercise scenes loved by younger generations and which will be common in future communities.

As the first episode of the series, the video tells the story of common prosperity from both Chinese and Western perspectives in the form of dialogue between the bilingual host Chen Yongxin and her friend Ben, an American who married a Hangzhou native.

The video tries to bring out the unique splendor of Hangzhou as a world-class modern international metropolis as well as the happiness of local residents with both material and spiritual abundance.

The video recently won third place in the 4th My China Story International Short Video Competition for its depiction of a real, holistic, and dynamic story of Hangzhou.
