The 18th China International Cartoon & Animation Festival ended in the city of Hangzhou in East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 27. It proved to be a safe and well-managed national cartoon festival.
Despite the impact of the pandemic, this year's CICAF still attracted 292 Chinese and foreign enterprises and institutions, over 1,400 exhibitors, merchants and professionals from 52 countries and regions, who participated in various onsite activities and conducted 4,073 one-on-one matchmaking meetings. As a result, contracts signed onsite totaled more than 554 million yuan ($78.45 million).
More than 32,000 people visited the site and around 10.2 million people participated in online interactions through the Online CICAF platform.
