Stunning spring scenery in Hangzhou wows tourists
With flowers heralding the approach of spring, CGTN stringer Lily Ye enjoys a daytrip in east China's Hangzhou City.
She visited Tangqi, an ancient town, located on the north side of Hangzhou. The town was established 1,000 years ago and is famous for its unique fruit called loquat. In the neighborhood area of Chaoshan Mountain, a mountain covered in a sea of mume blossoms has captured the hearts of many spring holiday makers since the Tang Dynasty (619-907).
