The Chefs de Mission Seminar for the 19th Asian Games will take place in Hangzhou, China from April 25 to 27, some five months before the Games begin on Sept 23.

It will be the largest international seminar in the runup to the Games and will receive officials from the Olympic Council of Asia as well as some 100 delegation leaders of OCA's 45 National Olympic Committees.

During the three-day event, the Hangzhou Asian Games organizing committee will update the participating NOCs on the latest policies and information, including competition services and registration, anti-doping, competition and training venues, athletes' villages and sub-villages, accommodation and catering services.

Venue tours will also be held, followed by an optional city tour and cultural programs on April 27.

The CDM Seminar is a major step before every such major sporting event, giving the organizing committee an opportunity to present key information and the NOCs the chance to ask for details on specific matters.

The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province in eastern China, from Sept 23 to Oct 8.
