Chengdu players win at Hangzhou esports tournament

AG Super Play won the first gold medal at the "Exciting Hangzhou" M-zone Cup Esports National Invitational Tournament held in Hangzhou Esports Center, Zhejiang province on May 21.
AG Super Play, a well-known esports team from Chengdu, defeated its opponents at the finals of Arena of Valor (Asian Games version) and became the first gold medalist of the tournament.
You Nailangchun, a member of AG Super Play, said he was proud of their victory. Du Guohao, another team member, spoke highly of the Hangzhou Esports Center due to its comfortable environment and advanced technology and said he hoped to take part in more games at the center.
Xie Tao, the team's coach, explained that they had formulated a detailed strategy before the game and strictly followed it, which helped earn them the win. "Just like other sports games, esports also requires team members to work hard. A suitable strategy and teamwork are indispensable. Team spirit and competition are very stimulating for young men," said Xie.
The first stage of the tournament finished on May 22, while the second stage will begin on June 1.
