Woxiaobai, a self-driving road-sweeping car developed by Beijing-based startup Idriverplus, is the result of applying automatic driving techniques to the sanitation industry. The one-meter-high vehicle is able to clean, water and avoid obstacles in an unmanned state and can operate around the clock, said Xie Hongxiang, vice president of Idriverplus.

Now, the car has been put into use in many campuses, residential areas, factories and industrial parks in Beijing and Shanghai, said Xie.

Several technology companies signed intentional agreements to set up operations in the area.

Over the years, Hangzhou has attached great importance to the development of 5G technology and issued a series of policies to build itself into a hub in this regard.

Fan Zhaohui, vice head of Jianggan district, said that the district will focus on intelligent economy and build itself into a pilot demonstration area for 5G in Hangzhou.
