The main business income of Fuyang Economic and Technological Development Zone in 2016 was 174.45 billion yuan ($27.17 billion), up 3 percent year-on-year; the output value of industrial enterprises above the designated size was 108.51 billion yuan, up 2.3 percent; it paid 5.85 billion yuan in tax, an increase of 17.5 percent; it completed the fixed asset investment of 28.25 billion yuan, up 10.3 percent, including 10.94 billion yuan invested on infrastructure facilities. 

The annual actual utilization of foreign capital reached $271 million in 2016 with 2.93 billion yuan of domestic funds in place.

The zone occupies an area of 43.87 hectares, including 28.07 hectares of collectively-owned land and 15.8 hectares of state-owned land. A total of 75 households, 10 enterprises and 53 storefronts were relocated. It obtained 106.67 hectares granted by governmental policy and adjusted the planning of 53 hectares covering Yinhu, Dongzhou and Changkou new areas and the resettlement of 133.4 hectares of farmland.

The Dongzhou New Area expropriated 2.3 hectares and obtained 51.11 hectares by government,  and resettled two enterprises, seven stores and 54 rural households in 2016, while Changkou New Area expropriated 4.7 hectares, obtained 17.5 hectares for crop compensation, relocated 22 households, 43 storefronts and three companies.
