World youth leaders promote exchanges at Hangzhou summit

The 2018 World Youth Leaders Summit opened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province with the participation of roughly 400 global youth leaders and organization representatives from over 10 countries and regions across the world, on Dec 2.

Themed on "Innovation makes a better world", the summit, organized by the World Youth Leaders Union and Young Entrepreneur Committee of the General Association of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs, is aimed at bringing together youth leaders to discuss global social problems related to major concerns of the United Nations, including globalization and de-globalization, artificial intelligence, youth's social responsibilities, and other global concerns in 2018.

"Unity and the cohesion of global youth can contribute immensely to the advancement of society," said He Yong, president of the Young Entrepreneurs Committee of the General Association of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs who called for a global platform for exchange and cooperate among youth leaders.
