Hangzhou to host global summit on cross-border e-commerce

The 4th Global Cross-border E-commerce Summit will take place in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on June 27, local media reported.

Hosted by the China (Hangzhou) Cross-border E-Commerce Pilot Area, this year's summit will focus on the digital Silk Road and its implications on the global economy, Hangzhou's experience in developing cutting-edge technologies to aid in the industrialization of digital resources, and innovative applications which aid in the digitalization of industries.

Over 1,000 representatives and experts from 35 cross-border e-commerce pilot areas worldwide will be invited to share insights on cross-border e-commerce trends, share their experiences, and seek cooperation through a series of themed forums and dialogues.

Representatives from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative will also participate in the event.
