Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province announced new ambassadors for Qiantang River culture at a forum held on June 25.
The five ambassadors come from all walks of life ranging from a member of a symphony orchestra, a financial author, to Tim Clancy, an Australian national who has lived in Hangzhou for six years.
Organizers said that the forum is a preparatory event for the third Hangzhou Qiantang River International Culture Festival, which will open in July.
