Hangzhou volunteers act as temporary employees for companies

Hangzhou has organized volunteers to act as temporary employees in order to deal with the severe labor shortage facing companies due to the current coronavirus outbreak.
Since January, more than 11,000 volunteers, most of whom are Party members, have been organized to help companies resume production.
In Yuhang district, 240 Party members volunteered to help five major local agricultural bases harvest vegetables, winning praise from local residents.
On Feb 26, the Hangzhou heath commission selected 210 volunteers from hospitals, centers for disease and control and health supervision authorities to help companies prevent and control the virus.
More than 60 Party members from the Hangzhou development and reform commission, the Hangzhou construction commission and the Hangzhou urban management authorities volunteered to provide services for 74 provincial and 273 municipal projects.
In Shangcheng district, more than 60 volunteers have helped solve more than 1,000 issues related to the resumption of production for over 5,000 companies by providing counseling services over the phone.
