TongLu Ancient Village Cluster

South China style ancient village cluster is located in Tonglu county, 45 kilometers from urban center of Hangzhou city. As the popular tourism routes pass by the cluster, it enjoys convenient transportation.

The cluster contains five villages- Shen’ao, Xufan, Huanxi, Dipu and Qingyuan. It boasts profound historic background, rich folk customs, unique water resources, ancient architectural complex and deep clan culture.

Visitors to the cluster can relax by wandering about the ancient buildings to sense the culture of South China style, taste coffee or tea, admire the beauty of flowers, listening to wind and water sounds, or breathe in the fresh air.

With its attractive natural landscapes and deep cultural background, the cluster won several titles, including provincial historic and cultural preservation zone, provincial scenic spot of intangible cultural heritage, nationally famous historic and cultural village, national 4A scenic site, and international demonstration site of rural leisure tourism.
