New smart delivery cabinets have been installed across Hangzhou enabling "contact-less pickup" to reduce person-to-person exposure, enabling delivery workers to put takeaway food into cabinets equipped with heat-preservation technology and ultraviolet disinfection lamps.

Automatic messages are then sent to customers to come and collect their meals.
