The Hangzhou Digital Health Innovation Park located in the sixth-phase project of the Hangzhou HiPark in the Xiaoshan Economy and Technology Development Zone opened on May 7.

More than 40 companies specializing in digital health industry have registered to operate in the park.

The first batch of 10 projects involving big data operation, genetic test, artificial intelligence and digital home nursing services were signed to operate in the park.

China Electronics Technology Group, which is among Global 500, brought two major projects to operate in the park.

The two projects are the China Electronic Modern Digital City Operation Service Base and the China Electronics Data Operation Co Ltd, with the latter project to be focusing on online sharing of medical data.

Notably, Li Chong, a native of Hangzhou and an immunology doctoral degree holder at Peking University, brought with him a project specializing in screening of cancer at early stage.
