Xiaoshan district in Hangzhou recently opened its first overseas incubator for innovative talent and projects in Tel Aviv, Israel in an effort to recruit professionals from China and abroad.

The talent incubator was co-built by Qianjiang Century City and Infinity Group. Located just 3.4 kilometers away from Tel Aviv University, it will focus on recruiting high-caliber professionals for innovation projects.

Israel is one of the world's innovation powerhouses and invests a lot into research and development. Infinity Group, based in the Southwest Asian country, has been dedicated to cross-border partnerships since 1993 and is working to build innovative platforms, investment funds, and incubators.

Qianjiang Century City is a central business district located along the Qiantang River in Hangzhou. It is meant to be an active player in the city's international development.

"We began discussions with Infinity Group last year, and in order to overcome difficulties caused by the novel coronavirus outbreak, we decided to organize a special team and carry out our work online," said an official from the administration committee of Qianjiang Century City.
