Zhang Wenhong, leader of a Shanghai team of experts in the treatment of COVID-19 and director of the department of infectious diseases at the Shanghai Huashan Hospital Affiliated with Fudan University, was invited to participate in a live stream in Zhejiang province on May 31 to share advice on COVID-19 prevention with Zhejiang people living, working, or studying in countries such as the United States, Italy, Britain, Canada, France, and Russia.

This is the fifth such live stream activity held by Zhejiang authorities.

Zhang Wenhong was born in Rui'an, a county-level city in Wenzhou, and graduated from Rui'an Middle School in 1987.

Zhang suggested that parents keep their children away from strangers when playing in outdoor spaces such as parks, and that young people who work outside the home maintain a safe distance from any elderly people in their home to prevent the latter from being infected.

When riding a plane, Zhang suggests people wear surgical face masks or N95 masks and use a disposable cushion or disinfect the toilet with alcohol wet wipes before using it.

Zhang also suggests avoiding the gym.

The activity lasted nearly one hour and viewers thanked Zhejiang authorities for holding it.

Zhejiang authorities said they will continue to help Zhejiang people living overseas by donating medical supplies, offering medical advice online, and more.
