Jianggan district, Hangzhou introduced 25 projects costing a total of 43.33 billion yuan ($6.19 billion) on July 9, local media reported.
The projects involve city-industry integration, industrial transformation and upgrading, the renovation of old residential quarters, and infrastructure construction.
"All these projects are in response to Jianggan district's call to optimize the local industrial structure and pursue comprehensive development," said an official from the district development and reform bureau.
The launch ceremony was held at the construction site of Fengshou Meidi Industrial Park, a 1.5-billion-yuan investment that focuses on industries such as creative cultural products and conferences and exhibitions.
A total of 13 project deals were also signed that day. The projects include the construction of a comic commercial complex and the R&D headquarters of Anhi Semiconductor Group.
