Wanshi town is best known for its vast ginkgo forest, which covers an area of 267 hectares, giving the town the nickname "home of gingko trees".

There are more than 1,200 gingko trees over 100 years old in the town's Yangjia village alone.

Visitors to the town are encouraged to stay at the Guzishan Hotel, which is located in the Ginkgo Park in Yangjia village. It has a total of 10 rooms.

Each of the 10 rooms has a window shaped like the frame of a traditional Chinese painting, making the view from the window look like the painting itself. The rooms are all made from natural materials and are ecofriendly.
