You can see several senior citizens working at a green bean soup stand in Dongxin community, Hangzhou every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon this summer. The stand is known as "Grandma's Green Bean Soup" and is run voluntarily by five local female residents, with an average age of 68.

It's the 5th consecutive year the women have been working at the stand, handing out soup free of charge to passersby.
