Take a cruise on the Qiantang River

The Menghang, the largest and most advanced cruise ship on the Qiantang River, will begin operating during the National Day holiday, local media reported.

The three-story vessel is 54 meters long, 15 m wide, and has a passenger capacity of 556. It features a modern but elegant interior with depictions of clouds and water.

The cruise will mainly be used for hosting meetings, with the first floor able to accommodate 350 people and offering a high-definition LED screen and stereo system, and the second floor offering panoramic views of the Qiantang River to up to 50 people.

The cruise docks at the Binjiang Wharf and sets sail at 10:30 am every morning with tickets priced between 100 and 160 yuan ($14.66 and 23.46), and at 6:50 pm and 8:20 pm every night with tickets priced between 138 and 198 yuan.

Tickets are currently available on travel platforms such as Meituan and Ctrip and on the WeChat account "qianhangcruises". Passengers can take buses No 96, 138, or 304 to the wharf, or take Metro Line 1 to Jiangling Road Station and transfer to bus line 138.
