Xio Lift was ranked as the only national smart manufacturing demonstration and pilot enterprise in the Chinese lift and escalator industry.

It has been focusing on the digital-, network-, and intelligent-based development of lift design, technology, manufacturing, and services.

The enterprise boasts a smart manufacturing management center, which can offer smooth connections between customers, raw material suppliers, the smart manufacturing plant, and logistics companies.

Feng Tieying, vice-COO of Xio Lift, said that once a client places an order, the center will automatically purchase the corresponding raw materials from suppliers and arrange production in the plant. It will also contact the logistics company and deliver the order to the client at the most appropriate time.

"At present, 83 percent of the orders were handled by the center and the figure will grow to nearly 100 percent when the 'plant of the future' is completed in May," Feng added.

The plant will be facilitated by cutting-edge technology, such as artificial intelligence and 5G. It will continue to strengthen the enterprise's independent, complete, and strong industrial chains.

By then, the annual output of the enterprise is expected to reach 100,000 sets, which can generate a value of over 10 billion yuan ($1.54 billion).
