Lin'an, a district administered by Hangzhou, is the hometown of Qian Liu, also known as King Wusu, founder of the Empire Wu-Yue (907-978) during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period (907-960).

Many people today are still familiar with the story of King Wusu building seawalls to protect residents living along the Qiantang River from floods.

In today's program, we will visit Lin'an and learn about the lives of local residents.

Starting June 17, a brand new bilingual program entitled Hangzhou Eye will offer the world new insight into Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.
