The sixth session of the 13th Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress drew to an end in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, on Feb 5, local media outlets reported.

Deputies to the session approved a variety of projects and plans, which included the government's practical projects on people's livelihood to be completed in 2021, the 2020 government work report, the synopsis for the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25) and the long-term development goals for 2035, the implementation of the 2020 plan for economic and social development, as well as the economic and social goals to be achieved in 2021.

The session also approved the annual reports delivered by the Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress, Hangzhou Intermediate People's Court, and Hangzhou People's Procuratorate.

Li Huolin was elected director of the Standing Committee of the Hangzhou Municipal People's Congress and pledged allegiance to the constitution.

The session concluded with deputies standing up and singing  the national anthem.
