The public will be able to buy tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2022 Asian Games starting from Sept 10, according to the organizing committee of the Games.

The Games' official ticket website for the public is scheduled to go online on July 10, said Liang Qiangyong from the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 Organizing Committee (HAGOC).

The first round of sports tickets is expected to be available to the public in October, though that could change depending on the pandemic situation.

People can buy the tickets on the official ticket website, via the mini program "19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022" on Alipay, or at sales outlets.

Ticket booths at the Hangzhou Asian (Para) Games venue will be opened to the public two months before the Games, which is set to take place from Oct 9 to 15, 2022.

Foreigners will be able to buy tickets from overseas outlets authorized by the HAGOC and two months before the Games, the official ticket website will be available to people around the world.
