Daciyan town in Jiande county-level city, Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, is the main production area of lotus seeds in Zhejiang.

The history of planting lotus seeds in Daciyan dates back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907). During the Song Dynasty (960-1279), Daciyan-grown lotus seeds were used as a royal tribute.

By building and promoting the regional public brand "Jiande Liye White Lotus Seed", the town has formed a complete lotus industrial chain featuring lotus, fresh lotus seedpods, lotus seeds, and creative products.
