In 2016, Hangzhou hosted the G20 Summit and the city decided to celebrate Hangzhou International Day on Sept 5 every year.

This year marks the fourth Hangzhou International Day.

Over the past few years, Hangzhou has topped the country in terms of net inflow of talents. It has also been listed among the top 10 most attractive cities for foreign talents for 10 years.
