With all of Hangzhou counting down to the opening of the 19th Asian Games, local seniors are welcoming the event in their own way.

In many local residential communities and retirement homes, seniors have started learning English, as well as creating Asian Games-themed calligraphy works and paintings.

Near the West Lake, a top scenic spot in the city, a group of seniors have teamed up as volunteers and put on the iconic red hats and vests to serve people in need with speed, professionalism, and sincerity.
