The Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Tennis Center, also known as "Little Lotus", in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, will be among the most visually striking architectures at the upcoming 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022.

Apart from being shaped like a lotus, it also has a movable roof that when activated makes the center look like it is blooming. It takes 15 minutes for the eight "petals" on the roof to be fully open.

The exterior of the "Little Lotus" is designed with floodlighting effects, much like its neighbor the main stadium of the 19th Asian Games, known as "Big Lotus", which can create different eye-catching lighting effects on the south bank of the Qiantang River.

The center will host the tennis competitions for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, which is scheduled to take place from Sept 10-25.

Since beginning operations in 2018, the center has hosted many major events, including the 14th FINA World Swimming Championships and the Hangzhou International Tennis Invitational Tournament 2019.
