Editor's Note: The Hangzhou culture, radio, film and tourism bureau has unveiled a list of 50 experience centers that best bring out the essence of the 19th Asian Games as well as the unique charm of Hangzhou. Jiande Aviation Town

Jiande Aviation Town in the Jiande Economic Development Zone is a national 4A tourist destination occupying an area of 10 square kilometers.

It was rebuilt on the former site of the Hengshan Iron and Steel Plant, which declared bankruptcy in 2003.

Encircled by the picturesque Qiandao Lake and Yellow Mountain, the town offers visitors a variety of sky-related activities, such as skydiving, helicopter tours, and hot air balloon tours, as well as immersive classes one the sky and the space.

The town is the first aviation science popularization center in Zhejiang province, and many colleges and primary and middle schools have chosen it as summer camp or study tour destination.
