Editor's Note: The Hangzhou culture, radio, film and tourism bureau has unveiled a list of the 50 experience centers that best bring out the essence of the 19th Asian Games and the unique charm of Hangzhou. The centers focus on history and culture, digital economy, intelligent manufacturing, intangible cultural heritage, sports and health.

Hangzhou Embroidery Training Center

The Hangzhou Embroidery Training Center is dedicated to promoting the local embroidery technique, an intangible cultural heritage item with a history dating back to the Song Dynasty (960-1279).

The center has a variety of embroidery-themed cultural experience activities on offer year-round, including embroidering handkerchiefs, moon-shaped fans and sachets, and also accepts reservations for study trips arranged by travel agencies and team-building activities. The teaching team is led by Jin Jiahong, a renowned practitioner of the technique.

The center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Saturday. All courses should be reserved one day in advance.
