Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, plans to extend its subway operation hours from June 2 to 5, to deal with the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival travel rush.
On June 2 and 5, the last train of all subway lines in Hangzhou will depart at 11:00 pm, half an hour later than usual.
More trains will be put into operation during the travel rush, said the Hangzhou transportation authorities.
