The post-doctoral centers in Xiaoshan district have become an important carrier for the introduction and cultivation of high-caliber innovative young talent and the integration of teaching, research, and production.

Statistics show that Xiaoshan district has so far set up 51 postdoctoral centers, of which 22 are at the national level and 29 are at the provincial level. A total of postdoctoral researchers have been recruited, with 183 having graduated. Total investment in scientific research has reached 2.36 billion yuan, while the added value of sci-tech achievement transformation has increased by 6.24 billion yuan.

"Postdoctoral centers in Xiaoshan district have been focusing on solving companies' problems related to major projects and technological innovation, with their research fields covering key industries such as artificial intelligence, computer science, steelwork, and automobile manufacturing," said an official from the Xiaoshan human resources and social security bureau.

Meanwhile, Xiaoshan district has been paying more attention to optimizing incentive policies, creating an innovative environment, and improving management services so as to constantly enhance the quality and efficiency of postdoctoral centers and related research projects.
