Yang Kun was influenced by her mother and loved to sing and dance. Her mother is a Chinese teacher in elementary school, and she is passionate about opera. She teaches children to sing as well. As a child, Yang Kun remembers that her mother used to go to opera, holding her and her brother in hands. At night, after listening to the opera, she would go home when she was so tired that almost fell asleep.
