The Huzhou-Hangzhou high-speed railway, which stretches a total of 137.8 kilometers, is expected to serve the smooth running of the Asian Games and be an integral part of the Yangtze River Delta railway network. There are six stations along the route, namely Huzhou Station, Deqing Station, Hangzhou West Station, Fuyang West Station, Tonglu East Station, and Tonglu Station; the latter three are newly-established stations.

Hangzhou metro line 19 starts from Shaoxi Station in the west and connects with Jingjiang Station in the east over a total length of 59 km and 15 stations, including the major transportation hubs of the Hangzhou West and East railway stations and Hangzhou International Airport. It is expected to improve traffic efficiency between western Hangzhou and central and eastern areas.
