The third cross-Straits photography cultural week kicked off at the Zhejiang Art Museum in Hangzhou on Oct 20, local media outlets reported.

The works of Yu Yuntian and Ye Wenlong, winners of the Chinese Photography Award, China's top award for photography, were highlights of the week.

A total of 278 photos captured by 85 photographers of the distinctive looks and landscapes from both sides of the Straits were on display.

In addition to the main venues in Hangzhou, Ningbo and Jiangshan, two neighboring cities of Hangzhou, will hold sideline activities in early November, inviting visitors to share their perspectives on movie and television culture.
