Bangkok Post, a mainstream media outlet in Thailand, posted on its official website on Nov 17 a report about Hangzhou, discussing its hosting of the 19th Asian Games next year.

The story spotlighted Hangzhou's pursuit of a green, intelligent, and economical sporting gala and the city's contributions to China's modernization.

As a high-tech city, the news revealed Hangzhou's application of digital technologies in the construction and operation of the sporting venues.

The report also noted that the Hangzhou Asian Games are the most environmentally-friendly of their kind and renovated and transformed venues account for the majority of venues, while brand-new ones make up only one-fifth of the total.
