The Dry Pond Fishing Festival, a traditional custom among Hangzhou locals around the Xixi Wetland in autumn and winter, kicked off on Nov 19 and will run through January. During the event, visitors can catch fish in a designated pond or buy fresh fish at the market, which opens every weekend.
