3rd World Association President Conference opens in Hangzhou

The 3rd World Association President Conference kicked off in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province on Dec 10.
As a sideline event of the first Global Digital Trade Expo, the conference was co-hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, China Chamber of International Commerce, and Global Alliance of SMEs.
Since its initiation in 2020, the conference has gathered more than 1.2 million participants for online and offline discussions.
This year's edition aimed to proactively respond to the changes in the current domestic and international economic and security situation, strengthen China's international development cooperation, promote global digital trade, and build a community with a shared future for mankind.
The conference had its main venue set in Hangzhou, which could reach out to 10 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions such as Guangdong, Guizhou, Hainan, Fujian, Chongqing, Jilin and Inner Mongolia, and 21 sub-venues set up in 11 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, New Zealand, South Korea and Spain.
