Annual cultural gala ends with multiple achievements

The 16th Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo came to a close in Xiaoshan district on Jan 2, local media outlets reported.
Featuring exhibitions, forums, trade fairs and award ceremonies, the expo was participated in by around 3,800 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Japan.
The four-day event also attracted over 100 million visitors to its online and onsite editions and witnessed the inking of projects and agreements worth a total of 2.12 billion yuan ($307.1 million).
In addition to hosting six themed exhibitions on foreign cultures, the event gathered over 350 globally-renowned brands such as Pinocchio, Smiley and Buti and invited sister cities and cultural organizations from across the country to come and promote themselves.
