Zhejiang Province prioritizes water management in ecological construction
Zhejiang Province in east China has taken water environment management as a top priority in the construction of ecological civilization, improving the water quality of hundreds of lakes and rivers.
Up to now, Zhejiang has completed a total of 585 provincial-level river and lake projects, and constructed over 6,000 kilometers of waterfront greenway, linking about 3,390 waterfront parks and cultural sites. The province also promotes recreational sports such as walking, cycling, fishing, marathon, dragon boat racing, and rowing in these areas, allowing local residents to better benefit from the projects.
