A Boeing 767-300 operated by Maersk Cargo Airlines loaded cargo at the Hangzhou International Airport in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, on April 6, destined for Billund, Denmark.

This marked the first all-cargo flight from Hangzhou to Denmark and the first time Maersk has operated a regular cargo service from China.

With the inauguration of two new air freight services with scheduled flights from Hangzhou to Billund, Denmark and Chicago, the United States, there are now 20 international all-cargo routes from the Hangzhou International Airport.

The new cargo flights enhance the airport's ability to serve as a hub for freight transfer to Europe and the Americas, connecting Zhejiang and the entire Eastern China region with the world's two major manufacturing and commercial centers, as well as the Nordic region.

The new cargo flight can also help promote the development of the Hangzhou pilot free trade zone and create a better environment for foreign investment in the city.
