The Hangzhou Asian Games Village in Xiaoshan district will provide accommodation, dining, and other services for nearly 20,000 athletes, team officials, and journalists from both home and abroad during the games.

However, with such a large number of people potentially using electricity, water, and gas services simultaneously, there are concerns over whether the village's infrastructure can handle the demand.

To address these concerns, the Asian Games Village operations and management center conducted a full-load test of its power distribution facilities from April 8 to 10. Additionally, on April 10, they conducted a water pressure test.

As the largest non-competition venue of the Hangzhou Asian Games, the Asian Games Village is a critical component to a successful Games.

The test provided a real-life simulation of the operational capabilities of the electricity and water supply facilities during the games, evaluating the village's readiness and ability to provide essential infrastructure support.
