The Exciting Hangzhou 2023 National Archery Tour opened at the Yinhu Sports Center in Fuyang district, Hangzhou on April 9, local media outlets reported.

From April 10 to 16, competitions in men's and women's recurve bow, men's and women's compound bow, and compound bow mixed teams will be held at the center.

A total of 374 athletes from 30 teams from Anhui, Gansu, Guangdong, Guizhou, Hainan, Yunnan, Zhejiang, Chongqing, and other provinces and regions will compete in these events, with an estimated 20 gold medals to be produced.

The competition is the first national archery event to be held at the Yinhu Sports Center and will also help the venue to prepare for the Asian Games.

The center will serve as the competition and training venue for shooting, archery, and modern pentathlon at the Hangzhou Asian Games, and is expected to produce 47 gold medals.

The overall design of the shooting complex was inspired by the painting Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains created by Huang Gongwang during the Yuan Dynasty (1279-1368), with the architectural style echoing the shape of the mountain peak at the edge of the painting.
