The fourth United Nations World Data Forum is scheduled to take place from April 24 to 27 in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang province.

The forum, entitled "Towards Data That Empowers Our World", will be held both online and offline this year.

Six plenary meetings and 72 parallel sessions will take place during the forum, covering topics related to fields such as maximizing the value of data, innovation and cooperation on data, forming a better data ecosystem and enhancing data credibility.

A 2,000-square-meter exhibition area entitled "Innovation and Cooperation on Data" has been set up. It is divided into five sections: Global Vision, Chinese Smart Statistics, Digital Zhejiang, Hangzhou Practices, and Data Industry.

The Hangzhou Practices section will showcase the city's experience and practice in providing digital services to improve people's lives. It will showcase urban life digital scenarios through interactive exhibits, providing a close-up and immersive display of China's smart and Hangzhou's exemplary use of data to create a better life.

Notably, half of the 22 companies exhibiting in the Data Industry section are from Hangzhou. These companies excel in areas such as data infrastructure, data applications, data security, and data ecology.

In the Data Infrastructure section, Ant Group will showcase its blockchain platform, Mosaic integrated machine, trusted on-chain module, and mPaaS mobile development platform. The Zhejiang Laboratory will focus on displaying its intelligent computing technology system, while the National (Hangzhou) New Internet Exchange Center will showcase its backbone network and basic interconnection facilities for small and medium-sized networks.
